What the results mean
This uses animation-frame timing to estimate browser rendering cadence. It does not read a monitor’s advertised maximum refresh rate or measure pixel response time. Power saving, variable refresh rate and browser scheduling can affect it.
Common problems
If a high-refresh monitor reads near 60 Hz, check the active display setting and cable or dock configuration. Keep the test visible. Results with too few frames or a backgrounded tab should be repeated.
Privacy and data use
Frame timestamps are analysed locally. No display capture or network measurement is needed.
