Dead Pixel Test
Inspect your monitor for dead or stuck pixels with fullscreen white, black, red, green and blue screens. Switch colours with buttons or arrow keys.
Full-screen pixel inspection
Clean your display first. Then inspect each solid colour from a normal viewing distance. A pixel defect may appear as a point that does not match the surrounding colour.
How to use this tool
- Gently clean the display so dust does not look like a defective pixel.
- Start the fullscreen test and inspect the whole panel, including the edges.
- Use the colour buttons or Left/Right arrow keys. Press Escape or Exit to finish.
What the results mean
A dark point on bright backgrounds may be a dead pixel. A point stuck on one colour may be a stuck subpixel. Uneven brightness over a large area is a different issue. This test displays patterns; you make the visual assessment.
Common problems
Check the same location on several colours. Move a window or image to rule out a mark in the content. If fullscreen is unavailable, maximise the browser; areas covered by browser controls remain untested.
Privacy and data use
The colour patterns are generated locally. The tool does not capture your screen or send inspection results anywhere.

Can this repair a dead pixel?
No. It helps you find visible defects. It does not repair panel hardware. Avoid pressing on the screen and check the manufacturer’s support guidance for your model.
