How to use this tool

What the results mean
Each PDF page becomes a separate raster image. Text is no longer selectable, interactive elements do not work and JPEG does not retain transparency. Higher scale gives more pixels but uses more memory and produces larger files.
Common problems
For large or complex PDFs, reduce scale or split the document first. Password protection and unsupported content can prevent rendering. Check that every expected page is present before sharing the ZIP.
Privacy and data use
Document processing happens locally. PDF.js and ZIP code load from third-party CDNs. The selected PDF is not uploaded by this tool.
Frequently asked question
Can I convert the JPGs back without losing anything?
You can build a new PDF from the images, but the original text layer, vectors, links and form fields will not return. Keep the source PDF.
