Preview your webcam and check microphone activity together before a call. Start either test separately, or test both. Permission is requested only when you start.

Speak normally and look for movement. Activity confirms an input signal, but does not prove your voice is clear. This test does not record or play back sound.
If a test fails
Allow camera and microphone access in the browser and operating system. If a device is busy, close other apps using it and retry. You can test one device even if the other is blocked or absent. Device names may appear only after access is granted.
A browser preview does not check the meeting server, call quality, speaker output or recording clarity. Use the meeting app’s own checks too.
