Dimensions and format are different controls
Resizing changes pixel dimensions. Conversion changes the file format. Compression changes how efficiently the data is stored. Using all three deliberately produces smaller, more practical images.
Resize first
Use the Image Resizer to set the dimensions you actually need. A 4000-pixel photo usually does not need to stay 4000 pixels wide when displayed in a 900-pixel content column.
Then choose a format
Use the Image Format Converter. JPG works well for photographs, PNG for transparency and crisp graphics, and WebP often gives smaller web-friendly files.
Finish with compression
If the output is still large, use the Image Compressor. Keep a visual eye on small text, gradients and faces while lowering quality.
